Been a wee bit busy these last few weeks, but on a return trip from SSM, I spied several moose. The light was fading, but he stood there for awhile. Hopefully, some better ones next week as I once again venture out.

Okay Paris, you wanted it, you got it. Returning from Thunder Bay on Thursday, I spied me a little bird. This photo has been cropped, but thanks to decent light, still looks okay. It is the first decent hawk I ever took, so I am happy with it. Remember, the photo safari this summer may unleash similar gems.........

Okay, I know, I know, I know. Long time, no posts. I get it.

Here is one to tide you over.

Watch for a post next week that is quite sad, somewhat gruesome, but somehow poignant and an ultimate image of the nastiness of life and the risks of crossing highways. I will leave it at that for now.

This is a shot of an eagle, but he (I bet it was a she) flew to the west of where she stopped with the sun at her back, the light was not good. Eagles, though, are great to get, even if the shot is not great!!!
